Who operates jeune

jeune is operated by Heron Packaging LLC. Andrew Fuselier is the contact for privacy and support requests.

Information we collect

• Account information, including your name, email address, and sign-in provider identifier.
• Bottle photos, tasting notes, reactions, dates, occasions, prices, and wine details you choose to save.
• Taste profile data derived from your saved bottles and reactions.
• Basic technical logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

AI processing

We ask for your consent before using third-party AI services. Bottle photos are sent to Google Gemini. Notes may be sent to Google Gemini and Meta Muse. These services are accessed through Vercel AI Gateway. Wine identity details may also be sent to Perplexity for research. We use the results to identify bottles, organize your notes, and build your taste profile.

How we use and share information

We use your information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve jeune. We share information only with service providers needed to run the service, including Vercel for hosting and storage, Neon for database hosting, Google and Meta for AI processing, Perplexity for wine research, and your sign-in provider. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and journal information while your account is active. You can delete an individual bottle and its stored media in the app. You can also delete your account in the account menu. Account deletion removes your entries, stored media, taste data, user-linked usage data that exists, session, and account record. Backups and provider logs may remain for a limited period under provider retention and legal requirements.
